Dear Takhini Community,

I wish to welcome you to a new school year.  This year is a year like no other due to the global pandemic and yet, Takhini continues to thrive.  This is in no small part due to the school’s growth goal to become a trauma sensitive school in all aspects of our programming and response to student stress.  This has been a goal we have worked towards for several years and is now serving our school community well during these uncertain times.

As we move forward through this very unusual school year, we will continue to balance the academic and social emotional needs of our student body.  If you have questions or wish to learn more about being a trauma sensitive school, please make sure you contact me.
