Takhini School Musicals
Since 2011 Takhini Elementary School students have participated in a school-wide musical performance each spring. Exploring titles such as Disney's Jungle Book, Aladdin, Lion King, and Aristocats as well as Willy Wonka Kids and Annie Kids, our students have had the opportunity to learn and perform all the ins and outs of running a full scale show. Intermediate students are invited to be Actors, Dancers, Stage Hands, and help to run the Audio/Lighting Tech, as well as help to build the sets, costumes, and marketing. The primary students sing as a class choir and sometimes have an opportunity to perform choreography in select groups. Takhini School is proud to support learning through and with the Arts!
